Samsung Galaxy Books

Samsung Galaxy Books

Case Details:

In February 2023, Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC filed a lawsuit alleging that Samsung is selling faulty laptops. The lawsuit claims the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro, and Galaxy Book Pro 360 models overheat excessively, even during basic tasks. The lawsuit claims Samsung knew about the overheating issue but failed to disclose it to consumers. This alleged lack of transparency left users exposed to danger and unable to use their laptops properly. The lawsuit further claims Samsung’s marketing misled customers by touting the laptops’ “superior computing power and speed” without mentioning the overheating problem. This deception is said to have been an attempt to boost sales and profits at the expense of consumer safety.

What’s Next?

A class action lawsuit has already been filed. Anyone who purchased a Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro, or Galaxy Book Pro 360 should contact the BG&G legal team to discuss joining the class action.
